Aloha! We’re Lei and Chan, the founders of Da Souv Shack, a home-based small business rooted in our love for family, culture, and bringing people together through food. What began as making island-inspired crepes at home slowly turned into a dream of building something meaningful for our family and our community.
My husband, Chan, works incredibly hard—juggling a full-time job along with side work just to provide for our family. Despite all that effort, making ends meet is still a challenge, and the hardest part is how little time we get together as a family. Da Souv Shack was born from the hope of changing that. We wanted to create something of our own—something we could build together—so Chan wouldn’t have to work nonstop and we could spend more time as a family while still creating a stable future.
Our goal is to grow Da Souv Shack through pop-ups and catering, with plans to eventually expand into a food truck or food trailer, allowing us to serve more customers and participate in larger events and festivals. Funds raised will help cover essential startup costs such as purchasing a food truck or trailer, other equipment needed, permits, licenses, supplies, and marketing so we can operate legally and consistently.
Any donation, big or small, truly means the world to us. Your support helps relieve financial pressure on our family, uplifts a small business, and brings us one step closer to a future where we can work together—and be together—more. Thank you for believing in Da Souv Shack and for supporting our dream.
