On December 13, 2025, a mass shooting occurred at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Two students passed away, and nine were injured.

Of the nine injured, two of them were Chinese-American students who are still under intensive care. The families of these two children have come together to ask the community for financial support to cover medical expenses.

Members of Brown's Undergraduate Council of Students is in direct contact with these two families, and is fundraising on their behalf. Funds will be directly distributed to the two families.
