currently we have a category on the wiki, Policies, that has a completely disjoint set of policies from the ones listed here. do we want them all in both locations? do we want to reify one location?

We should probably go though those policies one by one and revote on them now that we have real voting procedure.

The end goal should be to have this repo and a site generated from it be the source for policy (things we voted on), while the wiki can just be information anyone adds without real authorization.

hmm... the policy policy doesn't apply to things adopted prior to its creation, but i can see why one would want to appeal to its legitimacy for older votes done without structure.
