Hi there, Folks
Just registered here so hope this question is OK to post in this area.
I host multiple websites on shared hosting accounts and have decided to look at Jetbackup 5 for the purpose of migrating sites from one server to another. I can see how to backup the sites but I cannot find clear instructions to be able to take that backup and upload it to another server also running JetBackup 5. What I need is to be able to upload the backup which when restored will restore that website and account to the new server including databases etc.
Am I hoping for too much?
Best wishes - Chris

Re: Import to another Server
Hello,
If you are looking to migrate accounts from server A to server B, the most straightforward option would be to create the backup on a remote destination from the original server, then configure that same destination on the new server using the same backup directory path.
Please note that JetBackup won't let you add the destination unless it is set to read-only, as it is owned by another server.
After adding, you can reindex the destination on server B, and the backed-up accounts will appear as orphaned accounts. From here, you can proceed to restore them through JetBackup. Once restored, the full hosting account, including website files, databases, email, and related account data, will be available on server B.
Information regarding read-only destinations can be found on our documentation page:
https://docs.jetbackup.com/v5.3/adminpa ... #read-only
