Gallery Alchemy

Gallery Alchemy is a contemporary art gallery in the heart of Milton, NSW. Gallery Alchemy exhibits work of emerging and established artists & makers by both local and international artists. Gallery Alchemy partnered with Five Formats to transform its online presence, unifying multiple outdated platforms into a seamless, high-performing eCommerce experience. Previously spread across WordPress, Showit, and Shopify, the website was complex and difficult to navigate. Our solution consolidated everything into a streamlined platform, significantly improving usability, efficiency, and product data management while enhancing customer engagement. A major innovation was the development of a custom-built exhibition catalogue, replacing static PDFs and allowing customers to shop directly from the catalogue, a groundbreaking concept for art galleries. We also designed a dynamic way to showcase large-scale artworks by incorporating moving visuals on artist pages, providing an immersive experience that highlights the scale and impact of each piece. The new site seamlessly integrates upcoming and past exhibitions, elevating Gallery Alchemy’s ability to connect with collectors and art enthusiasts. With a future-proof digital foundation, the gallery is now primed for sustained growth and online success.
