29·4 months agoHow is linux handle such situations, i’m new using it and haven’t looked that up yet, well i didn’t got in such a situation yet, but i only used a handful of time a external hard drive

I think somewhat with these signs is messing up with the ui. Looks like some kind of bug from the default ui for me.
I feel always 80% more stupid when i find my mistake. Shouldn’t it be different?

At university there were some students that want to manage projekts in could storange. That was just stupid but i didn’t know it better at that time.

0·1 year agobesides the communities or websites to find communities, as other have already posted. Some instances and communities add their community to https://lemmy-federate.com/. A project using a bot that initaly joins a community from different instances, so you are able so find them easier.

0·1 year agoMaybe, not sure how much they have to pay to mullvad to use their server and developement. But hard to imagine vpn couldn’t generate money. (not sure about relay). Ant it’s still online. But at least, it doesn’t seem to be a priority.

0·1 year agoThe new CEO of Mozilla, Laura Chambers, already said on march she want to reduce investment for mastodon and other products (VR, VPN, Relay). So this is just another part in reducing cost on section that doesn’t produce money. I’m not surprised. Sadly i have only a german source for that and the soure of them, bloomberg has a paywall.
