No, it’s an existential horror novel about having your body stolen so some alien can get laid. It just has romantic tie-ins with the alien trying to get laid.

Here, you dropped this.
Edit: I only just realized the Instagram ban was for the one that did the punching. I thought it was the punk bitch that was recording that got banned. I apologize and retract my remark.
Re-edit: it was a slow day at work and I caught the dumb by the end of my shift. But yes, it was the power-tool that got banned. Now I understand who OP was hoping is okay. I retract my /s and also hope for the solid boss that threw the punch.

TL;DR: This game is the fucking bomb if you like fantasy action adventures.
I haven’t played 2 yet on account of the mtx issues, but Dragons Dogma 1 is the fucking bomb. The story is vague in a Dark Souls/Elden Ring kind of way. Things happen and fancy words are thrown around for the mystique, but overall it’s fantastic. Dragon steals your heart (literally out of your chest with a single claw) and you go on a journey to regain it.
It has a pseudo-multi-player in the sense that: every player gets a ‘pawn,’ an extradimensional human-like follower. Players can borrow each other’s pawns, and pawns build a repository of quest knowledge based on the quests they’ve completed, home-game or borrowed. With that, they can offer assistance like helping some puzzles or pointing out enemy weak points.
It’s much more action oriented than a Soulslike, as it’s got a touch of anime theme. You can sprint into an attack, you can grab enemies, throw small ones, grapple human-sized, and literally climb large creatures. Climbing up a cyclops to stab the eye, holding onto a griffin that’s trying to fly away, throwing goblins at each other, it’s all there.
Scrolled past and kept going, thinking, ‘why did they have the Discord logo on Papers Pl–,’ and came back just for the upvote. Good shit.

Then don’t play them…?
Disclaimer: I know this is unpopular opinions, just paying my 2 cents.

The numbers double, if not triple around mid-Jan. It’s almost like they did something early Jan to make them feel less safe. Huh, I wonder what? obvious /s
Classic toilet paper facing the wrong way. We all start learning somewhere.
The best summary of the show so far. 👏 👏 👏

OP ran out of cheeks to bury their nose in.

Only chiming in for statistics. Where I live NC, USA; Almost nowhere charges a fee for credit/debit card use unless it’s a third-party ATM. But even then those typically are only there to account for cash-only payments like lottery or coin changers.
Not saying that it doesn’t suck, but I acknowledge that if your entire business is providing ATM services, a one-time sale is money lost, which is money that would go to support/maintenance.
I work at the dry-clean counter of a laundromat, and it’s cheaper to use quarters (which everyone has and can be exchanged anywhere) than to manufacture proprietary payment options. We only have like 6 machines that take credit cards, and they put a $10 hold on the account.
Compared to a $3 ATM fee to change $20 into quarters, it’s a million times more efficient, economically and ecologically.
I’ve been following these from the first edition, and now I finally understand the reason he did the thing.

Another TACO Thursday 🙄

Holy shit (no pun intended), she tried it once, got caught before she could, and was told her future visits 'would be monitored for the patient’s wellbeing. Then she tried again and was successful before being removed from the room so doctors could treat the kid.
There’s no update on the kid as the story seems to be going on, but why the fuck didn’t the hospital/police not mandate supervised/escorted visits after she got caught the first time???
YMMV, but less than a month after Colorado legalized, my dealer brought me headies after I asked for mids. Told him I wanted mids for the price-point and he said he couldn’t find mids anymore.
The stuff at the store is still a little better than what he brings (typically) for similar price-point, but yeah, lower quality stuff is getting less common.
Wait there’s a movie? Please link me a wiki page lmao
