Complete vs. Barreled AR-15 Uppers — What’s Included?

  • Complete Upper Receiver Groups: Fully assembled upper including barrel, gas system, handguard, bolt carrier group (BCG), and charging handle — ready to pin to your lower.
  • Barreled Uppers: Includes the barrel, gas block, gas tube, and handguard installed and properly aligned. Does not include BCG or charging handle — ideal if you prefer to select those components separately.
  • Standard Configuration: Optimized for unsuppressed or general-purpose shooting.
  • Suppressor Ready: Tuned for suppressed hosts and reduced blowback.

Rifle barrels are manufactured in-house in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio using controlled stress-relieving processes, precision rifling methods, and 100% magnetic particle inspection.

Unlike brands that outsource barrel production, Faxon controls manufacturing from raw steel to final assembly. That vertical integration ensures consistency, accountability, and long-term performance.
