Applying for your Global Case Management System (GCMS) notes is a great way to get accurate and granular updates on your application, including information on the visa office and officer processing your application, application status, and reason for status/refusal. You can also get copies of files submitted in support of your application.

The GCMS is a centralized system used by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to track all temporary (visitor, study or work visas) and permanent immigration, and citizenship applications. Each application recorded in the GCMS system contains detailed notes and comments from immigration officers with supporting documents, etc.

To request a GCMS Note or Case File, please complete our request form below, add request to cart and make payment. Once payment is completed, you will be able to download the Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request (IMM5744e) form. Download and complete the IMM5744e form in BLUE ink and return same to us, via email, at  gcms@dowimmigration.com.
