Welcome to DOOMVEGA

DOOMVEGA is a multi-media artist making cool things on the internet. When he's not streaming, he's experimenting with new sounds, making and playing video games, painting with pixels, and hanging out with his cat Eve.

Hello, I'm DOOMVEGA. I make things on the internet. This is my hub for all my professional works. I am primarily a multimedia artist. I make all kinds of art, across many different mediums. I especially love digital art, web development, and music-making. My portfolios for my art and music, as well as my commission information, all live here. You can also find information on my Ko-Fi shop and memberships.

If you'd like to get in touch with me, visit my contact page for more information.

Commission Status

My commissions are currently... open! To learn more about my commissions, visit the commissions page or go directly to my Ko-Fi page. Thank you!

Digital Art

I've been making digital art for roughly a decade now. Specifically, I've worked with Krita, which is free and open source. Since then, I've expanded to Aseprite for my pixel works. I make everything from digital paintings to cute little pixel sprites. Most of the projects I make feature my own art. I try to make things that are 100% my own!

Every week on Friday, I stream Coffee Break, a segment all about creating weird and unique art with Krita. It's a change of pace from the chaos I inflict on-stream the rest of the week, and it's a laid-back way to get a peek behind-the-scenes. So far, we've created everything from concept art to adoptable characters to prints and beyond! I hope to see you there.

Web Development

I've been a webmaster for three years. I started making websites when I was eighteen and looking for refuge from Tumblr. The journey has been long and not without hardship, but I am confident in my skills now and webmastery brings me great joy! In this era of the web I find that having a website is a blessing. (Seriously, go make a website.)

Music-making

Music has been a part of my life since day one. I've been a part of school-run jazz bands, I marched and played half-time shows for four years, and I played music with my peers throughout my educational career. I wrote my first full song when I was thirteen or so, but I have concepts that date back much further. I play a myriad of different instruments and love to make strange sounds with synthesizers.

Streaming & Video Editing

I've been fascinated by streaming since I made my first YouTube account. The first game I remember streaming was the original Portal, a full playthrough taking me roughly an hour. Of course, my curiosity with video-making in general goes back much further-- I would borrow my mother's camera and point it at the TV and play Minecraft on the Xbox, pretending I was one of those "popular" creators.

Now my streams and videos have become much more technical and polished. I use OBS for all of my streaming and recording. I've bounced between video editors, so I have a good grasp of all sorts of different software. Streaming is one of the best hobbies I ever got into, and I'm grateful to have built a community and made life-long friends from it. Thank you all, and I hope to see you in chat!
