Perhaps, but there are ways to run them :)

story-driven, third-person, high-fidelity, single-player games with solid fighting characteristics with simple upgrade paths
BotW and TotK fit this description exceptionally well.

Honestly win10 was great when it dropped. Not sure why we needed 11.
I’ve been around long enough to question this kind of advice. It depends, in so many ways, on the goals, strategies, and platforms.
I think that’s how this meme is mostly used (least knowledgeable to most) but if we are getting pedantic we have to acknowledge the axis is labeled.

Technology@lemmy.world•Make Microsoft's CEO cry by installing Chrome's 'Microslop' extensionEnglish
131·24 days agoI’m definitely not knowledgeable enough to contrast and compare linux distros but I’ll chime in with my experience for two years now on Pop!_OS.
So far, I’m super happy! Was simple to install and setup. Aside from Photoshop, there’s nothing I miss, and when in a pinch I’ve got photopea ready to go. I’ve got steam on there for gaming with little to no issues. My ds4 Bluetooth works out of the box, better than it did on windows. The options for how to install apps are great (love the pop shop ‘app store’).
I do a lot of go development using vscode (happy to try an alternative but the go ecosystem and plugin support is fantastic for vscode) and it’s smooth sailing.
My biggest hiccups were trying to use experimental nvidia drivers but rolling back to stable releases wasn’t too painful.

This is also my recommendation. Working with an OS on an SBC is fine but won’t give you the fundamentals like this.
The PIC family of micros are also great. I also recommended trying a few assembly programs to get a feel for those induction sets.
