Dan Sinker/notes

Most of the time my thoughts aren't long enough for a blog post. My shortform notes get posted on Mastodon and Bluesky, and also wind up here.

Spent basically the entire weekend signing, numbering and packing a remarkable number of zines. Ended up with EIGHT mail tubs full. Kinda blown away and definitely very tired. Stacks of zines are arranged on a table with a red surface.

A Saturday morning spent printing whistles and signing/numbering zines is a pretty good Saturday morning. A 3D printer sits on a table with stacks of zines titled "They Can't Take Us All" next to it.

Anyone who was out in Chicago during the two months of occupation knows full well that it could have gone this way for any of us. Still could. And we'll still go out.

Minneapolis is one of my favorite cities in the whole world. So many people that I love dearly up there. Be safe, be vigilant, do not stop.

American intervention has destabilized the world for generations. We could *all* have so much more, but instead we have this.

I tripled the number of folks subscribed to my writing in 2025. That's legit crazy. Thank you all who did so, and get on board if you haven't. dansinker.com/follow/

My friend in Minneapolis had ICE staging behind his garage last night. Literally the worst possible place for them to choose. His neighbors were not snatched.
