Flying High
from Sydney

Daisy Thomas fell in love with skiing at the age of three and hasn't looked back since. Growing up in Sydney, she started out in alpine racing at Perisher Winter Sports Club, moved through moguls, and by 2019 β€” inspired by her brother β€” she found her true calling in the terrain park.

"There is something so contagious about being in the mountains, doing something you love, with like-minded people."

Her rise through the ranks was rapid. By 16, she was competing at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. By 18, she had earned her place on the Olympic stage at Milano-Cortina 2026 β€” travelling to Italy just 2 months after rupturing her ACL, a testament to the grit and determination that defines everything she does.

When she's not soaring 60+ feet through alpine air, Daisy balances life as a student with aspirations to pursue an Arts/Law degree and eventually work as a barrister specialising in international ethical and environmental advocacy.
