The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) has updated its Access and Fee-for-Service Policy, as of October 1, 2024. This updated policy is the result of feedback from different stakeholders and takes into account key developments such as the upcoming introduction of the virtual Research Data Centre (vRDC), significant changes to the cost of maintaining the Network, and the growing number of Collaborating Institutions.
CRDCN research is supported by a range of funding contributions, and we require researchers to include the following statement with submitted articles to acknowledge the relevant funding that enable data accessibility. We also encourage researchers to provision the data accessibility statement with submitted articles as part of FAIR best practices.
