I'm obsessed with making things work the way they should.

My work spans software, theology, music, and startups. Not because I can't pick a lane, but because I think they're all the same lane. I like building systems, and the connection between all of it is pretty straightforward. I think anything worth doing is worth doing perfectly, even though perfection isn't real. That tension keeps me moving. When something breaks, I want to find the rule that failed.

Right now I'm living in Manhattan, NYC, working as a staff software engineer at Occupi, a fintech startup making rent payments accessible for underbanked tenants by letting them pay with the financial tools they already use.
