Hi all,
could anybody tell me how to create a folder using java Api's.Is there any API to create folder.

Specifically, look at the poorly-named mkdir() method in File. Note that in Java (like much of the rest of the computing world) the term "directory" is used rather than "folder" - but these are basically the same thing.
