Is there any API's available for parsing sql queries and storing the result into java collection objects.

16 years late 😅, but you might find jOOQ's integrated SQL parser useful: https://www.jooq.org/doc/latest/manual/sql-building/sql-parser. It can be used as an API, scriptable or interactive CLI, or on the website, if you're looking for translating between dialects: https://www.jooq.org/translate
