I’m a writer of fiction, non-fiction, and creative non-fiction. The majority of my fiction is genre fiction, specifically fantasy, science fiction, magical realism, and science fantasy. On this website, I’ve gathered together most of the fiction and non-fiction I’ve written over the years.
My interests that greatly influence my writing can be broadly summed up as language and linguistics, mythology and folklore, literature, history and archaeology, mental health, and arts and crafts.
Under “Published” are the articles and short fiction that have appeared in various publications, including PieceWork Magazine, The Companion, The Speculative Grammarian and Paragraph Planet. A link to some copywriting examples is also given under this heading.
My fiction, and information about my current fiction projects, can be found under the “Fiction” heading. The fiction includes vignettes, micro fiction, flash fiction, and short stories. This section of the website also includes my recently completed short story collection, Where the Stars Used to Sing.
The Ruon Chronicles is an epic fantasy work in progress. In the “Ruon Chronicles” section, there are various articles regarding the worldbuilding, including history, the magic system, and more.
Porselein is an Afrikaans, standalone fantasy novel that I’m currently planning and outlining. The Porselein section also contains worldbuilding and story notes.
