Please attach /var/lib/dkms/broadcom-sta/6.30.223.271/build/make.log
Also, give the output of:
apt-cache policy broadcom-sta-dkms

Note: broadcom-sta was patched to work with kernel 6.14 in bug 2110927

@Kevin: Can you reproduce this? I cannot reproduce it in a Xubuntu VM with 6.14 HWE

Need to see the log from the reporter to figure out what's going on.
