Bug Description
1. While logged in, connect a scanner, or turn on an already-connected scanner.
What happens: Nothing. (Disclaimer: I haven't actually tested this.)
What should happen: Simple Scan should open.
I suggest adding an option to Simple Scan's Preferences, on by default, to "Open Simple Scan when I connect a scanner". This does not mean it should open because when you log in to Ubuntu; only if you connect or turn on a scanner after logging in.
(Similar to bug 483399, about launching Simple Scan when a scanner's Scan button is pressed.)
