Mentoring Program

Mentoring Program
PRSA Tampa Bay’s Mentoring Program helps facilitate important connections and opportunities for its members to “watch and learn” from more experienced practitioners and teammates. We connect PRSSA students and PRSA Tampa Bay Chapter members with less than five years’ PR experience with mentors who are chapter members with more than seven years’ PR experience for the professional development and growth of all involved in the program.
What’s Involved?
The minimum requirement to participate in the program is dedicating at least one hour per month to meeting with your mentor/mentee, in a format of your mutual choosing (in-person, online or over the phone). However, we encourage mentors and mentees to meet and communicate as often as their schedules and interest allow!
Applications
Applications have closed for the Fall 2025 Enrollment Period.
The program will runs for six months, from November 1, 2025, until April 30, 2026.
The deadline to submit an application was Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.
When matches are notified, we will also offer suggestions on how to make the most of the mentoring relationship and check in periodically to see how things are going and offer guidance.
