Print is in my DNA. It was my primary area of study in college. It's where I turn when I need to ground myself as a graphic artist. It's also a necessity when it comes to branding a business. "Tangible" is still real and pure. From business cards to brochures, leave the print design to me.
To have a web presence is to truly compete as a business in this world. Whether simple or complex, I can design your site, streamline it to get the search results your business needs... and maintain it so you can focus your attention on running your business. Sit back. I'll take care of the rest.
Photography may not be my bread and butter, but it's a skill I've honed through the years. It's also new passion as I travel the world looking for unique settings, interesting people and one-of-a-kind experiences.
Filming and video editing is a new passion of mine. And with technology skyrocketing, it really is the future. From getting behind the camera to manipulating pixels on the screen, I can do it all.
Writing is truly an art form. It's been a creative outlet for me since childhood. From blog posts, to magazine articles, to social media campaigns and websites... I can help with your copy writing and editing needs.
Offer your customers incentives to take action via email marketing newsletters and promotions. "You've Got Mail" was, and still is, a relevant and welcomed message to anyone who connects in this new world of ultra-fast communication.
Hi. I’m Brock. Thanks so much for visiting my site. I’ve been a graphic designer for over two decades at this point—loving every minute of it! During that time, I’ve added “photographer”, “videographer” and “copy writer” to my list of skills. It’s been quite the creative journey.
After receiving a BFA degree in visual communication with an emphasis in graphic design from Northern Arizona University (1998), I balanced my time between Colorado and Hawaii. To satisfy my need for the outdoors, I peppered my 20s and 30s with various side jobs—tour boat captain (Hawaii), expedition leader (Alaska) and outdoor science instructor (Colorado)—all while allowing sufficient time to be creative and competitive as a graphic designer.
I’ve had the great privilege and freedom to have called so many wonderful places “home”. Today, Southwest Colorado carries this distinction. My humble apartment is, quite literally, bordered by the craggy San Juan Mountains to the East, the red rocks of the Utah desert to the West… a cold, clear river and tranquil lake just a short walk from my door. Traveling, however, continues to be a big part of my life. It’s as easy as ever, especially as modern technology allows us to reap the benefits of new places, cultures and the enormous amounts of creative diversity this world has to offer. For me, to live a rich life as a graphic designer requires a blend of two important lifestyle ingredients: 1) pushing myself creatively in a digital world, and 2) being active in the outdoors. This delicate balance is what nourishes my soul.
