was more of a genre based thriller and actually a lot less violent than i was expecting, the first five minutes had me gagged and the last scene was very meta but i feel like they could’ve had more philosophical commentary on violence in films throughout the film as opposed to just using it as a plot device, the lighting and editing was absolutely INSANE though i love grimy-feeling films
