Martin’s role in furthering inclusivity is to tell this story and to create conversation and historical accuracy through an unreliable protagonist, and to get us as an audience to understand the sheer violence and disregard towards the Osage Nation. Grasping the motivation behind these horrific atrocities, that are now widely known as the Osage murders, is seemingly (from my perspective) unfathomable.…
