Family and work. The two lives must never touch. But what if your work is so all consuming that it takes everything away from you? And what if your work is a perverse desire to cause harm and suffering on other people as a way to mask your own trauma and abuse?
Makes an amazing pairing with Split in that Shyamalan explores a fractured psyche as a representation for real fears everyone faces. Using the mind of a psychopath to…

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Someone really needs to find the fountain of youth and give it to George Miller, so he can make these movies forever.

Gonna have to watch a few more times, but I really think you could make the case that this is better than Fury Road. In the tradition of previous Mad Max films, this one is vastly different than the prior one. Fury Road was a chase movie. This one is a western revenge epic, laced with mythos and…

It starts with a Lawrence of Arabia homage, and it ends with a Barry Lyndon homage. So it's pretty much the greatest movie ever made, mathematically.

Gotta respect Lionsgate for releasing a movie like this in theaters-- a cheap, B-movie thriller that normally would've been dumped onto streaming. The sequences of peril are really effective, and there are some fun gags and visual ideas peppered throughout. Too bad it takes itself wayyyy too seriously with some laughably atrocious dialogue.

Not the worst thing ever, but did make my tummy queasy!!
