Day 365: Optimus Prime vs Megatron: The Ultimate Battle

Finishing off the Classics line with this boxed set titled The Ultimate Battle, featuring all-new sculpts for Optimus Prime and Megatron. Prime turns into a flat-nosed truck, and his robot mode has a spinning torso to simulate a powerful punch. Megatron turns into a tank, and has a spinning arm-blade. Both come bundled with a DVD titled "The Ultimate Battle," which despite the Classics branding has an Energon episode. This set was available starting in 2006. This concludes the 2025 Daily Drawing exercise. Perhaps this will return in 2027. Time will tell.

Day 364: Devastator (Classics)

Combine the five Constructicons in this boxed set available exclusively at Walmart stores in 2007, and you get the mighty Devastator. This version of the trailblazing combiner consists of five robots, rather than the original six, and is a redeco of the Energon combiner Constructicon Maximus. As an Energon redeco, any of these Constructicons can combine with other Energon combiners.

Day 363: Scavenger (Classics)

The last of the 2007 Walmart-exclusive Classics Constructicon five-pack is Scavenger. He turns into a steam shovel, the huge earth-moving quarry type. Unlike the other Constructicons in the set, he is not duplicated with a redeco'ed partner. Still, he is a redeco of Energon Steamhammer , since the whole set is a redeco of the Energon Construction Team .

Day 362: Scrapper (Classics)

Scrapper is another of the five-pack of Classics Constructicons available as a Walmart exclusive in 2007. He shares the same body design as fellow pack-mate Bonecrusher , but in a dark gray and black finish. He turns into a wheeled front-end loader. He is a redeco of Energon Sledge and Energon Bonecrusher .

Day 361: Long Haul (Classics)

Next in the line of Walmart-exclusive Classics Constructicons is Long Haul. The name once identified the member of the team that turned into an earth-mover/dump truck, but there is no such vehicle form in these redecos of the Energon Construction Team. Thus, the second crane truck ( after Hightower ) gets the Long Haul name. He was available in 2007.

Day 360: Hightower (Classics)

Another of the Walmart-exclusive Classics Construction set is Hightower, who turns into a crane truck. Hightower doesn't map neatly to any of the Generation One Constructicons, since the Classics set needed to shuffle the team roster. There are only five in this set, as it's made up of redecos of the Energon Construction Team -- there's no cement mixer, for instance. Also, the name "Hook" might have been in trademark limbo. Hightower, a new name for a Constructicon, has a bio that takes cues from G1 Hook and Mixmaster . He is redeco of Energon Wideload and Duststorm .

Day 359: Bonecrusher (Classics)

Beginning a run of Classics Constructicons with Bonecrusher, who turns into a wheeled front-end loader. This collection of Constructicons were available in a boxed set as a Walmart exclusive in 2007. As it is a redeco of the Energon Constructicons, the usual tally of six figures is reduced to five, requiring some creative renaming of the teammates. Bonecrusher is a redeco of Energon Bonecrusher and Sledge .
