Why has the way ticket prices are displayed changed?Ā
New industry rules mean all event organisers must now show theĀ total priceĀ of a ticket upfront. This total must includeĀ all fees, such as the booking fee and the litter bond, rather than listing them separately.
This change is designed to make pricing clearer and more transparent for everyone.
Has the cost of tickets increased?Ā
No – the total cost of your ticket hasĀ notĀ gone up.Ā Only the way the price isĀ presentedĀ has changed. Previously, you saw the ticket cost plusĀ additionalĀ fees listed individually. Now, everything is combined into one clear total.
What exactly is included in the new total price?Ā
Your total ticket price now includes:
Nothing extra has been addedĀ –Ā itāsĀ simply all shown together.
Why did you display prices differently before?Ā
In the past, ticketing guidelines allowed fees to be shown separately. Many festivals and events used that format so customers could see a breakdown of what they were paying for. The updated rules now require us to show the full amount in one figure instead.
Does this change how I pay or what I get?Ā
No. Everything about your purchaseĀ remainsĀ the sameĀ –Ā same payment process, same ticket, same festival experience.
Our tickets are sold in pricing tiers. Once one tier sells out we move up to the next tier. So the earlier you book your tickets, the better the price you’ll pay.
