AFTER-SCHOOL

About our after-school programs

Virtual lessons that bridge the gap between abstract concepts and real-world application

Our after-school programs empower Black youth aged 8–14 to build strong foundations in math, coding, and digital literacy. Sessions are designed to support both beginners and returning students, blending theory and hands-on practice to spark curiosity and boost confidence in a supportive, culturally affirming space.

Led by experienced instructors, each program encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and creative exploration. Whether students are new to computers or continuing from earlier workshops, they’ll find a welcoming environment to grow their skills and mindset.

Program format

Sessions take place once per week and last between 1.5 to 2 hours. Instructors guide students through core concepts at a steady pace, while reinforcing learning through small tasks or workbook activities. These are required for students seeking certificates of completion.

What you’ll need

A computer with internet access is required for participation. No prior experience is needed—our team is here to support all learners, step by step.

Stay connected

Parents and guardians receive regular updates by email and, if opted in, by text. Some sessions may be recorded for internal use, though recordings are not always distributed.
