Traffic flow tips will help with congestion

Families are encouraged to use the following entry points when approaching our campus when possible to alleviate traffic congestion that comes with the start of a new school year:

  • CES: Approach from the bypass or Hay's Mill Road
  • CMS: Approach from Hay's Mill to Tom Reeve Drive
  • CUES: Approach from the bypass
  • CHS: Approach from Highway 27

Although congestion does improve with each passing day, we continually monitor traffic patterns and adjust accordingly to better serve our families. And be mindful of safety when you drive through campus – slow down, pay attention to pedestrian crossings, follow the guidance of our crossing guards, and don't use your phone so you can keep your attention on the road.

Ensuring safety for students as new school year begins

Students at Carrollton City Schools will start the new school year on Aug. 12, under the protection of a new Georgia law. Effective July 1, 2024, this legislation imposes a $1,000 fine and possible confinement of up to one year for passing a stopped school bus.

Supporting opportunities for students is sweet!

Over the summer, Carrollton Trojans Harris and Allie Grace Dial set up a lemonade stand to support the Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation. Their hard work helped raise more than $400, which will be used to fund field trips for our students. You, too, can help the foundation by becoming a Golden Giver! The Golden Giving Campaign officially kicked off Monday, Aug. 5. Click HERE to learn more!
