Board of Education honors students inducted in AAA Honor Roll

A special evening of special recognition was the highlight of the Carrollton Board of Education meeting Tuesday, which included honoring eight Carrollton High School seniors who are this year's inductees into a special class of CHS alumni.

Thanks for "bee"ing there for our students!

Dr. Andrew Edelman and Dr. Joe Hendricks from the University of West Georgia visited students in the Carrollton Junior High School Science Club this week. Students viewed live bees, located the queen of the colony, tasted honey made by the bees, tried on bee suits, and examined various bee species under a microscope.

CHS AFJROTC excels on unit evaluation

The Air Force Junior ROTC program at Carrollton High School earned an overall unit assessment score of “Exceeds Standards” — the highest rating attainable — during its unit evaluation last month.

Hands-on learning fun at CUES

Carrollton Upper Elementary School students in Mrs. Lynch's class engaged in a passage about the West in the 1800s where they learned how butter was made on the frontier compared to how it is made today. They reflected on what they learned while making their own butter!

Trent receives Outstanding Master of Education in Physical Education Student Award from UWG

Carrollton Elementary School teacher Ali Trent who has received the Outstanding Master of Education in Physical Education Student Award from the University of West Georgia! This award recognizes Coach Trent's academic excellence and her ability to become a highly effective physical educator, which reflects positively on CES's physical education program.
