What is Japan Pastel Nagomi Art?

Pastel Nagomi Art is a relatively new form of pastel art that originated in Japan. It was developed by a Japanese artist named Mr. Hosoya Norikatsu, who wanted to create an art form that was simple, gentle, and therapeutic.

”和” is the Kanji character for ‘Nagomi’ meaning “harmony”. The strong therapeutic benefit of this pastel art is its ability to create harmony and hope in the hearts of the painter and its admirers.
