Stevens Completes Gogo Galileo HDX High-Speed Connectivity STC for King Air

Greenville, S.C. - Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems, LLC (Stevens), in partnership with Gogo (NASDAQ:GOGO) and Metrea Aerospace Design, is pleased to announce that they have completed their Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Gogo’s Galileo HDX global high-speed internet system for King Air 200 and 300 series aircraft.

The Gogo Galileo HDX antenna delivers speeds of up to 60 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up “globally” backed by Eutelsat-OneWeb’s Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) enterprise-grade satellite network. Stevens witnessed these speeds during a delivery flight with a full cabin of users and a multitude of devices performing unlimited activities. All devices were loading the system with heavy streaming and other high-bandwidth activities and experienced seamless, smooth connectivity with
