Leading for Impact: Effective Administrative Observation & Feedback of SPED Teachers and the Role of the LEA

This session explores the critical role administrators play in ensuring high-quality special education through effective observation and feedback, as well as, leadership as the Local Education Agency (LEA) representative. Participants will examine what to look for when observing SPED instruction, how to distinguish compliance from meaningful instructional practices, and how effective feedback can strenghten special education programs. The training will also clarify the responsibilities of the LEA in the IEP process and how strong leadership can support teachers while maintaining legal and instructional integrity. Administrators will leave with practical tools and strategies to confidently observe, support, and lead special education programs for improved student success. Parking and Lunch included in price.
