Serving up Gratitude
Over the past two weeks, CCS School Nutrition teams cooked up a full Thanksgiving meal for every school on campus, dishing out 2,437 servings of turkey, 1,424 of ham, 120 pans of dressing, and all the holiday fixings to more than 4,200 students. Leadership teams rolled up their sleeves to help serve the meals, creating a festive experience for every child who came through the line.

Carrollton City Schools surpass state in college and career readiness
| Carrollton City Schools achieved success by surpassing the state in the 2025 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), demonstrating the district’s ongoing commitment to literacy and preparing students to excel beyond the classroom. Content Mastery, Progress, Closing Gaps, and Readiness are the categories evaluated to determine each school’s CCRPI score. | | |

CES launches Christmas store for students
| A new experience is in store for Carrollton Elementary students, inviting each to give to their loved ones this holiday season. During the school day from Dec. 1 through Dec. 8, the CES Parent-Teacher-Volunteer Organization (PTVO) board members and volunteers will set up a holiday store at school where students can shop for affordable and memorable gifts. With the support of sponsors, all children will have the opportunity to practice generosity and gratitude this holiday season. | |

| Carrollton High School's Future Business Leaders of America club leaders recently attended the Georgia FBLA Fall Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. Representing CHS, Charley Evans and Olivia Inman presented on social media strategies, and Julia Hume and Rian Nestor participated in practice job interviews. Members from all over the state met for informative sessions, workshops, and networking activities. | |

Georgia Student Health Survey
The Georgia Student Health Survey is an anonymous statewide survey that identifies school climate issues that impact student achievement. The survey will be administered to grades 3-12.
