1 Early in the morning, the chief priests, elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin devised a plan. They bound Jesus, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate. And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate. And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. Early in the morning the chief priests with the elders, scribes, and the entire Council immediately held a consultation; and they bound Jesus and led Him away, and turned Him over to Pilate. Very early in the morning, the chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin, made their plans. So they bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate.
2 So Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews? “You have said so, Jesus replied. And Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him, “You have said so.” And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it. Pilate questioned Him: “So You are the King of the Jews?” And He answered him, “It is as you say.” “Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate. “You have said so,” Jesus replied.
