The Mahindra BE 07 is an upcoming all-electric SUV slated for launch in India by October 2026. It will be positioned in the mid-size electric SUV segment and is similar in dimensions to the Tata Harrier. Part of Mahindra’s new generation of battery electric vehicles, the BE 07 will be based on the INGLO modular platform, which integrates key components from Volkswagen’s MEB architecture including electric motors, battery modules, and electronic control units.
The Mahindra BE 07 price is expected to fall between ₹25 lakh and ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and configuration. The SUV will likely be offered in multiple variants that differ in drivetrain layout, battery capacity, and equipment levels, catering to a wide range of buyers within the premium EV space.
While Mahindra has not officially confirmed a specific launch date, the BE 07 is expected to be introduced in India by October 2026. Test prototypes are anticipated to surface in 2025, with series production expected to commence in the following year.
The BE 07 is likely to be offered in at least two variants—standard rear-wheel-drive and a higher-spec all-wheel-drive version. While colour options for the production-spec model have not been revealed, it is expected to feature a range of contemporary finishes, including dual-tone themes, matte textures, and unique BE-brand signature shades.
The BE 07 will be underpinned by Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which supports battery capacities of 60 kWh and 80 kWh. The larger 80 kWh pack is expected to deliver a WLTP-certified range of up to 450 kilometres on a full charge. The platform supports fast-charging at up to 175 kW, which will allow the battery to charge from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 30 minutes.
Performance options for the BE 07 will include a rear-wheel-drive setup producing up to 281 bhp and an all-wheel-drive version delivering up to 388 bhp. The exterior will feature aerodynamic styling with a coupe-like sloping roofline, C-shaped LED headlamps, flush door handles, connected LED tail lights, and sculpted body surfaces. Inside, the BE 07 will house a full-width digital dashboard integrating three high-resolution screens. Feature highlights expected on the production model include a panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, multi-zone climate control, OTA-updatable infotainment, voice control, wireless charging, and ADAS with autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
The Mahindra BE 07 will compete with upcoming and current models such as the Tata Harrier EV, BYD Atto 3, BYD eMAX 7, and Mahindra’s own XUV.e9. It is expected to sit in a niche that blends performance, design, and technology in a premium electric SUV package.
