There’s something beautifully simple about lifting weights. Being able to see and feel your progress in what you can lift—or how many times you can lift it—is as straightforward as it comes. Enter Fitbod, the data-based weight-lifting app that makes logging your exercises as simple as lifting the actual dumbbell.
As the title says, it’s pretty good. The best part of it is having multiple gym profiles, so you don’t have to reorganize your whole workout if one day you have to exercise in a different gym or with different equipment. I just change the gym profile, and it generates my workout for me based on my existing stats. I think the weakest part of the app as it is, is that it often focuses too much on isolation exercises instead of keeping the focus on compounds.
This app does it all. As a home gym owner my favorite feature is the ability to put in the equipment I own and have the app design consistently balanced workouts that use that equipment. I also mountain bike, so having the health tie in on iOS is helpful as the app knows when I’ve blasted my legs on a ride vs when it should recommend leg day in the gym. Easily the most full function exercise app I’ve come across!

Before Fitbod I had no idea where to even begin. I knew I wanted to lose body fat and gain muscle but I had no idea how to do that. Fitbod was the missing puzzle piece to all my problems. Not only does it provide you with quality training and guidance but the results are absolutely real! No matter what your goal is Fitbod can get you there! I’m so grateful to have found this app and I plan on using it for years to come!

After trying different workout apps, I’ve fallen in love with this one. It generates great workouts, has easy customization and equipment options (even mid workout) and tracking for gains and even recovery. My only suggestion would be please add a way to increase or decrease the difficulty given to a muscle group outside of a workout. I want to be able to pick a muscle group and say give me more weight or less (maybe there’s an injury or just recovery)

I love this app I’ve been working out for the past 3-5 months and already lost 17-20 pounds, only real downside is that you can’t create your own workout split and I think that should’ve been a option from the start. Being able to pick which muscle groups to work on a day throughout the week would been a great new idea to add to the app to challenge advanced gym goers who have been training for 6 months to a year to try out different splits, other than that I absolutely love this app

This app has been incredible! The ability to customize the equipment you have on hand by selecting either access to a full gym or by logging what you have in your house allows the app to customize a daily workout routine for you. It learns with you and takes your feedback along the way, helping you to push your limits while remembering your history and keeping your exercises safe and fully achievable for you.
