  • Good App, Unsatisfactory Job Application Feedback

    DIEVA ROKA

LinkedIn by no comparison is excellent. However, LinkedIn appears to receive too many third party job adverts that are possibly fake or only targeting country-specific applicants. We live in a global community and any employer still seeking to recruit within his locally operating nation must restrict access to other nationals. Unfortunately, LinkedIn permits users to apply to all types of jobs and we end up getting 1000s of rejections despite all efforts. It’s therefore unproductive to be applying for online jobs.In the USA alone, I have applied to too many companies. I am sure I usually meet 99 to 75 percent of the requirements but I get surprises. If a company is not ready to support Permit to Work, it doesn’t need to advertise a position globally. There should be pre-screening questions to every job that is advertised on the internet, so even before an applicant starts an application, he should either be denied access to apply or asked to proceed. In fact, applications end up taking too much of jobseekers’ times.

LinkedIn serves as a dynamic platform for fostering economic partnerships that empower both private and public sector players to positively influence economies and enhance the well-being and lifestyles of the global population in an equitable manner. To further this growth potential, LinkedIn could consider integrating more mid-level features into its free subscription tier, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to this shared vision. Paid subscriptions could then be reserved for those requiring advanced features for critical, purposeful use. Currently, restricting these features to paid accounts limits broader participation and hampers the platform’s potential as a catalyst for inclusive growth. Reevaluating the paid subscription model is essential to unlocking this opportunity.

  • App not working on iPhone XS iOS 17.6.1

    St Emmanuel

The LinkedIn app for some days now was opening with a black page on my iPhone XS running the latest iOS update 17.6.1. I decided to delete the app and re-download it to see if the issue was fixed after several updates. Signing in also is not allowing me to verify my device when password is entered correctly

  • Request for Urgent Assistance with Restricted LinkedIn Account

    derrickmeworlase

Dear LinkedIn Support Team,I am writing to request urgent assistance regarding my LinkedIn account, which has been restricted. This account is over three years old and has been an important tool for my professional networking and career development.Over the past three weeks, I have made several attempts to verify my identity through both facial recognition and ID submission, but I consistently encounter an error in the process. Despite following all instructions and trying under various conditions (including broad daylight, stable internet connection, and different devices), I have been unable to complete the verification successfully.I have also tried contacting customer support through the Help Center, but I have not received a response or resolution. At this point, I believe the issue may be a technical error on your side.I kindly ask that you review my case and assist in resolving this matter. I am fully committed to complying with LinkedIn’s policies and can provide any further information or documentation needed to verify my identity and regain access to my account.

I’m extremely disappointed in LinkedIn and I’ll never recommend it to anyone. My account was hacked even though I had 2-step verification with Google Authenticator with my associated email not hacked. My account was subsequently suspended pending ID verification. Persona does not offer ID verification services in my country, so my ID can’t be verified and I can’t get my account back. Regrettably, none of the support team members care in the face of me losing offers from recruiters. I’m now being asked to set aside my busy work schedules to go find a Notary Officer to swear an affidavit which is not free for an issue I didn’t cause in the first place. What a racist and discriminatory platform that treats some users anyhow just because of their countries of residents. To hell with LinkedIn!!
