User lacking translate option for a project - deluge

Asked by PhobosK

Hi,
As an administrator of the “Launchpad Bulgarian Translators” team (https://launchpad.net/~lp-l10n-bg) I would like to ask for help for a problem one of our users has - https://launchpad.net/~byv09 .
He wants to translate the Deluge project in Bulgarian (https://translations.launchpad.net/deluge), but sadly he doesn't get any options for that, though he is part of the translation team.
Other members of the team do not have this problem as far as I am aware.

We tried several things to make this happen but none of them worked:
- Make the email public.
- Change browser, IP, device
- Add him to “Ubuntu Bulgarian Translators” team - https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-bg
- Deactivate account and create a new one with another email.

As I said nothing worked and what he sees on the project translate page is this: https://ibb.co/Vp33mzmG

Can someone look at this problem please.
Thanks

Hi @PhobosK,

Since the user is in the Bulgarian translators’ team, they should normally see the translation options. Please check:

That the Deluge project is linked to your translation group.

The user’s preferred languages include Bulgarian.

They’ve logged out and back in after membership changes.

If those don’t help, it’s likely a permissions bug. I’d suggest filing a bug here so Launchpad admins can review the account directly: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad
.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask PhobosK for more information if necessary.
