  • This electric air conditioner (compressor kit) can be installed anywhere. It is operated by a battery (generator). You can still use the air conditioner even when the engine is off.   • Compressor parameters: horizontal scroll compressor. Material: Aluminum alloy. Voltage: DC 12V. Startup current needs 75A. Displacement: 21cm³/r. Cooling capacity: 1.688KW / 8875BTU. Rated speed: 1800 rpm. Speed range: 2300rpm. Rated power: 550W. Refrigeration oil: POE/130ml - 150ml (oil is already in the compressor). Add R134a/600g.
  • The electric compressor kit is shown in the picture, (excluding the air conditioner evaporator), the evaporator needs to be purchased separately, we have a variety of sizes and styles of air conditioner evaporators for you to choose. This electric compressor kit is suitable for all fuel vehicle air conditioning modifications without affecting the horsepower of the car itself.
  • Suitable for: vintage cars, trucks, RVs, agricultural vehicles, pickups, vans, excavators, construction vehicles, passenger cars, muscle cars, sedans, etc.
  • Note: Please do not run the compressor without adding R134a and connected with other parts, it will cause damage to the compressor. Please tighten the control board. Otherwise the board will be burnt. The current needs to reach 75A, please check whether the battery meets it before purchasing. Compressor can only be installed upright (feet down)

  1. Step 1: Remove the cover of the compressor, insert the compressor connecting line into the cover until the black square rubber is completely embedded in the cover, and then cover the corresponding hole of the compressor.
  2. Step 2: Plug the evaporator connecting wire of the control panel into the evaporator extension wire. The color of the wire at the other end of the evaporator extension wire is connected to the evaporator. The green wire is connected to the green wire, the red wire is connected to the red wire, and the black wire is connected to the screw on the back of the evaporator. The yellow wire does not need to be connected.
  3. Step 3: Wrap the compressor overheat sensing wire of the control panel around the compressor.
  4. Step 4: Connect the drying bottle connecting line of the control panel to the pressure valve of the drying bottle.
  5. Step 5: Connect both sides of the drying bottle with the BH8 high-pressure hose. Connect the end with the IN mark on the drying bottle to the elbow joint of the condenser and the other end to the expansion valve of the evaporator.
  6. Step 6: Plug the fan connecting cable of the control panel into the fan extension cable, and plug the fan extension cable into the fan.
  7. Step 7: The power cord of the control panel is relatively short when leaving the factory. If the distance is not long enough, you can directly replace it with an extended power cord. (The kit is provided with an extended power cord)
  8. Step 8: Connect the high and low pressure interfaces of the compressor. Blue L port, use the aluminum connector of L, and then connect to the evaporator interface with BH13 low pressure hose. Red H port, use the aluminum connector of H, and then use the hose of BH10.5 to connect to the other interface of the condenser.

  • After all the above steps are completed, vacuum, add refrigerant R134a/600g, and then connect the power supply. Do not open the air conditioner without adding refrigerant, or the compressor will be damaged. If there is a fault, please do not worry. It indicates which step of the installation step has a problem. There is a flashing light on the panel. You can confirm the fault according to the panel fault picture above. Such as insufficient voltage, insufficient refrigerant, excessive refrigerant and high pressure.

Fast blinking 6 times, pause 1 second: Electric fan fault.

Fast blinking 7 times, pause 1 second: Motor lack of phase. Please check if the motor got burnt and connection is correct or not.

Fast blinking 8 times, pause 1 second: Compressor over heated protection.

Fast blinking 9 times, pause 1 second: Pressure switch protection.

      When I received the package, everything was there. There was nothing different than what was shown online. The only problem I had, and you might not have this problem, is that the TVX bulb was too short for my application. So I need to order a new one that has at least double the length.
      I haven't installed it yet, but when I do, I'll update my review. So far, I'm impressed with everything and the quality of the shipping.

      Received the compressor components in good condition, however I am going to be using this on a boat with liquid heat exchangers connected to a water loop and provided hose ends are not compatible with NPT male threads so, still waiting on AN6, AN8 and AN10 hose endings and NPT adapters to be delivered so that I can connect it with the condenser and evaporator. Will update the review when the AC installation is complete.

      I purchased the unit and once I had it wired in and charged I kept getting a pressure switch warning and the compressor would not turn on. I bypassed the pressure switch and determined that it was a faulty pressure switch as the system worked great after bypassing the circuit in the dryer bottle. Would be 5 stars if entire unit functioned out of the box.
