    I loved Valerie Harper from the first episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She had something about her as Rhoda Morgenstern that went beyond her performance. This book reveals what a truly wonderful person she is in real life. She has never stopped acting and she has been involved in many progressive causes. This is not a book merely about "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" or "Rhoda". This is Valerie Harper's autobiography and I thoroughly enjoyed some of her highly acclaimed performances on Broadway. The book moves along at a good pace and it includes her battle with cancer. Long may this wonderful woman live! Her book is a real page turner. I highly recommend it.
