Completely amazing book. I loved it.. read it in one sitting couldn't put it down. Real raw lives issues. Omg!!!! Two college students meet at a new years eve party. Blaze and fallyn. Blaze knows from the first moment that she's all he needs in life aside from being the quarterback on his college team. He's hot and every girl's wants him including fallyn except she won't let him know it. She fights demons from her past and tries changing her life so she pretty much keeps to herself and studies. Her friend and roommate forces her to go to the party that will change her life forever. After trying to push blaze away she gives up knowing full well that she don't want to push him away. He's fighting demons in his past as well. Born to two junkies he works hard to get away from that life and football is what gets him out with a full ride to college. After a month of dating they get married and life comes into play which neither were ready for. At their wedding party some vindictive chick secretly drugs all the players blaze included and while driving they end up in an accident and at the hospital is where he finds out he was drugged although the cops don't believe him and arrest him leaving his new wife alone in the hospital on their wedding night. This is were life takes a turn. The accident took away his chances of playing again and with that his pro ball career he was working towards. So with a hurt shoulder and everyone thinking he's on heroin he's no longer on top of the world. He gets hooked on the pain pills and ends up failing a drug test during his probation meeting which sends him to jail for the remainder of his 6 month sentence. Fallyn stands by him but he's so messed up on pills he pushes her away so he don't have to see the look in her eyes... hurt.pain.disappoimtment. when he's finally released she's happy and scared. He tells her he's clean which is a total lie. He just can't shake the pills. She discovers them the same time she discovers she's pregnant. When he comes home from pretending to be job hunting and needing his pills he finds that he wife has found them and finally admitting that he needs the pills more then her he leaves never knowing he's also leaving his baby. Fallyn is scared of being a single mom. She's also a mess at what come of her husband and their life. All the broken promises. She meets a guy at a coffee shop and becomes friends with him informing him that's all it will ever be because she's married. He still let's her know he wants her but don't cross the line. Blaze is in a program and almost 60 days clean. He wants his wife back and was planning in the few days that he'd get his 60 day chip to go and get her back and not let anything stop him until he sees his pregnant wife with a man who's holding her belly and kissing her head. He never got that 60 day chip he went of the wagon immediately. He's an even worse junkie then ever even back with his father whose he's hated his entire life. He's dirty and skinny and gross. It's now months since seeing his wife with another man although he's stalked her and has watched from afar and dives further into drugs and now it's pills and coke. Fallyn has their son, who looks just like his father. Fallyn ends up alone again when the friend passes the line and kisses her. She tells him to stop and that she'll never feel that way for him. She still wears her wedding ring and says that her heart only for her husband. Outside one day on his way to score he bumps into fallyn and her son only he takes one look at him and knows he's the father. She tells him to stay away. A few days later he sets out to fix his life once and for all. Two years later he shows up on her doorstep. What happens? Will she shut the door on him or open it wide? Is he clean or still a junkie?
