Singlehood: A Christian Romance Kindle Edition

Xavier Miles was just another kid on his way to college until one wild night changed his entire life. After moving across the country to escape his past, Xavier joins a campus ministry to honor a promise to his mother.
Now, he's trying to figure out his life while balancing college, a job, and a new girlfriend. But when God tells him to dump his sweetheart, he freezes up.

Xavier embarks on a journey of faith as he learns to trust in God while searching for his life partner. Along the way, he is chased down by the darkness he left behind before college and is challenged in every area of his faith. It's not until he meets a strange young woman that he begins to see God's plans unfold in his life.

The only thing that confuses him about his future wife is that she doesn't seem interested in men...

How is that part of God's plan?

Singlehood is a Christian romance/coming-of-age novel. It is a journey of faith, love, and trust in God. This book is a standalone written for readers of college age and older.

Hi there! I am a Christian author who writes fictional stories that reflect the body of Christ and the Bible. I love my dog Sesame, who is a small tricolor beagle that loves peas! On our days off, we like to travel, visit new restaurants, find exciting dog treat recipes, or go on an adventure. But when we’re not enjoying our free time outside of our cozy home, I am typing away on the next best Christian novel, while Sesame snoozes somewhere nearby, dreaming of our next adventure.

As of now, I don’t have one particular genre I write in. God gives me ideas that span a wide spectrum and isn’t limited too one particular genre. I am grateful to Him, for blessing me with colorful stories that bring Him glory and honor. I hope that all my readers enjoy these tales as much as I love writing them.

Please feel free to keep up with me and the stories I’m working on via social media. You can find me @ awritingbean on Instagram and Twitter. For questions or concerns please email awritingbean@gmail.com.

I read this, and it was a very hard personal read for me.
Rape, being called a lier, and suicide are in my past.
    But so is sin.
Oh,I still fall short, but I pray and strive daily to be the christian and wife God created me to be!
I have never been able to understand homosexuality, but
Always believed we are not to judge. And have known lesbians and gays, but they would tell me "biblically, my lifestyle is wrong,But ...."
They were never able to fully explain the but....
The scriptures explaining how being a wife is different then a husband, how predestination is real, how we must first serve God before we can help our spouse and family.
AND how we must forgive those who have physically, mentally and emotionally harmed us.It doesn't hurt the abuser,it does keep the victim a victim and bound in the role of victim.
This is a hard story of sisters, best friends( young men),drugs, prostitution, bondage, death, murder and Jesus( without being predictable)
    It's also a love story.
A story of love created by God,2 people specifically created for each other, and finding each other.
    Worth the read.

Where do I even begin? I absolutely love how faith is intertwined in the storytelling. One of my goals has been to read more and I am so glad to have chosen this book. So many nuggets to meditate on. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Eli, a college counselor and a church youth minister, works with a young man, nicknamed X, who has just started college after going through a terrible party experience that ended in a horrible wreck that involved many tragedies. Eli also counsels a college student, MJ, who has lost her twin sister to suicide and is having a lot of personal issues. At church, Eli teaches a weekly study to a group of young people on being single, having life goals and what makes up a good marriage. Lots of interesting interactions and interpersonal relationships occur with regards to how it all fits in with regards to God’s plans and will.

At first I wasn’t really convinced that I liked this book but now I’ve learned so many things about God and trusting him. Also about single hood that it is the time to connect to God. I was crying because the book was talking so much truth over my life. Thank you A. Bean. May God bless you
