While these numbers are undoubtedly true, they are also completely made up. The source of this fabrication is Aetheric Games itself: mostly one Mr. Nick Bell, plus his occasional co-conspirators.
I (Nick, that’s me, hi!) am an indie generalist some of the time, a lecturer in a community college other times, and a queerly neurospicy, middle-aged nerd all the time. I teach beginner game dev classes to (mostly) young adults, which is not so different from game design! As well as rats and food, I love to play thinky games where the story is the ultimate puzzle and solving it makes you feel things, whether that’s dread or wonder or warm fuzzies. I hope that’s how Aetheric games are for other people.
After releasing (award nomimated) snaky puzzle-dungeon adventure, Temple of Snek, the next Aetheric game is Pizza Rat Collective, a puzzly game about six adorable rats with unqiue skills, who have to work together to get a pizza.
