this is a test text. wahoo!~

the site's 1st anniversary & a fresh start!

i'm starting over from scratch. kind of. i lost a huge chunk of files in improperly backing up my files when i reinstalled opensuse on my laptop in... june? and thus, i lost a good chunk of my personal website notes. i still have to scour my old obsidian files to see what i have, but i might have lost my personal changelog and everything, which really demotivated me since it happened.

alas, i'm currently home with a cold and i recently switched to using arch on my laptop, so i decided that may i should return to my website too. i'm really glad that this part, the redesign of my home page, survived the file loss. it gives me something to start off with :D

(i also didn't lose the old files of all the things i already made for my site, thank god)

anyway, i'm really happy to be back, gonna be working on returning my other pages to my website and updating everything to be nice and fresh!

Status Update ~ °

Life keeps me busy a lot, so it's unfortunate that updates will continue to be slower. But, I've been working on a few things!

First and foremost, documenting my Linux journey for a blog post. It's taking a while, especially because right now I'm switching Window Managers. And I really want the result of that to be part of the post. So it'll be a little bit until I can share that.

I've also started to work on the Scrapbook! It's slowly taking shape, yet I feel the need to mention that I am taking my time with it because I really want to upload it only when it's 100% functional and finished. Not one second sooner.

Besides that, I've also been making time for my other hobbies - knitting, crochet, reading, and playing video games (I really got back into Minecraft and I also just bough CK3). Plus spending a lot of time with the friend who I'm dating, which has been wonderful all around. Right now though I'm visiting my mother for a couple days, which does mean I will have some time to focus on webweaving a little more than I have recently :3
