Whenever I introduce myself to a new environment I tend to only cover the surface of what I think other people think of me. I never really go into depth about who I am as a person. I say things like, “My favorite color is black, I play volleyball, and My name is Ami”. I’d get reactions like “ omg your name is so cool, that's also my favorite color too”, and then the conversation would end with the other person only knowing the crust of who I am. So I want this Bio to cover the core of who I am by writing a summary of my entire life.

My name is Ami Choates, I'm 18 trying to live my most unregretful life possible. My favorite hobby is designing. Now you might be wondering why I couldn't have just chosen a hobby like drawing or riding a bike, that's because I design everyday. I design through measuring cups and ingredients that make new desserts. I design through the nets that stand between me and my opponent in a competitive game of volleyball. I design through my enormous spreadsheet that helps me fixate my ADHD on things that can be perfect. I design through the apps of which I post silly little posts on tik tok/instagram when I’m bored or when I’m feeling creative, but most of all I design through the relationships that ignite my happiness. Designing can be so simple but so complicated at the same time. That's why designing has been the motto of my life and purpose. Without the minds that design where our world would be? I design because my content is preceded by design and if my design was without content, wouldn't that just be decorations? I don't want you to judge me based on the decorations that I portray. I rather the ideas and designs that it took to write this bio be the inner crust you see. I hope you learned a little bit about how my mind works through this bio.
