“How much do you know about Project 873?”

I freeze mid-step, my thoughts racing. For weeks, I’ve been waiting for a sign, a contact, anything from the government. And now, here it is. Only someone within their ranks could know about this secret.

“That’s not the right question,” I say, keeping my composure. “Try again.”

“How much do you know about the aliens?”

I laugh, the sound cutting through the swirling snow. “If you’re talking about aliens like the ones in movies, they’re just fragments of human imagination. The strange phenomena experienced by astronauts or pilots? That’s not extraterrestrial. It’s a glitch in time.”

He narrows his eyes, intrigued but skeptical.

“Think of time as a system,” I explain, “like interconnected circuits running on vibrations and frequencies. Occasionally, these systems falter, an anomaly occurs, like a bug in a computer. When it happens, fragments of the future temporarily overlap with the present. Those futuristic aircraft sightings? They’re not from another planet, they’re moments from the future bleeding into our now. Time isn’t linear, it’s layered, and sometimes, those layers collide.”

“So, are we alone in the universe?”
“And what happens if we continue to explore other planets, like Mars or beyond?”

"Humanity is still in its infancy. Exploring other planets isn’t just about finding new homes. It’s about expanding your awareness, understanding your place in something far greater. But,”

I pause, choosing my words carefully, “remember that the true exploration isn’t out there.” I point to the stars.
“It’s in here.” I tap my chest.
