Unfortunately, Disney 'stripped' the black panther of his original personality, leaving only a little bit of his wisdom in his character. However, in the original book, Bagheera is not only wise, but also strong. Unfortunately, this is the reason why he is the prey 98% of the situations, not the hunter.
