At Rising Stars our goal is to provide well rounded, high quality Islamic education in a safe and engaging environment especially to those kids who go to public school. We would like to see our kids become confident members of their Muslim community, feel proud of their identity and this is only possible if they are connected to the right information in the most engaging way so that they can relate to it. Hence, we are looking for like-minded people who share the same vision.
At Rising Stars we believe in following a structured program with focus on progression of curriculum by grade level, similar to what is found in a school set up. We believe in having an interactive teaching style with student centered approach and a balance of instructional teaching and student participation. Student engagement through visual content is an integral part of our program in the form of Textbooks, PowerPoint lesson plans, game-based learning such as Kahoot, Jeopardy, hands-on activities, crafts, thought provoking exercises and active student participation (student presentations etc).

13 total working Sundays (public holidays excluded: Presidents Day, MLK Holiday, Last week of Ramadan, Eid Holiday, Spring Break)
