You chose well! But I don't think you picked the Numidians from the Caeasr's Gallic War range; those are pig-ugly, like the Balearic Slingers and Creatn archers: link Yours appear to be PRR-07, Auxiliary Light Cavalry, from the Imperial Roman range: link These are the only Old Glory "Numidians" I would recommend, so I think you got the right ones! IMO, they don't go too badly with the Foundry Numidians--wich are from their Caesarian range. Nice blog article! Thanks for reinforcing the point about ethnic origin! Allen |

Well, I ordered the Numidians from the Caesar's Gallic War range, but you're right; they are definitely the figures from the Imperial Roman line. Whoops. I'll update the blog post. |

I am painting Numidian army now and specificaly ordered from both ranges. They sent me the same figures even though some were marked "Auxillary Light Cavalry" and some "Numidian Cavalry". I also disagree about ugliness of the figures. I like the figures a lot although they look ugly before painting. |

Maybe Old Glory has come to the same conclusion about the figures in the CWG-26 pack, and is substituting the better figures! Count yourself lucky if you got the good ones in both packs, Igor. (And I agree with you about the ugliness; I like the PRR-07 figures--as long as you don't look to hard at the arms and legs…) You caught the labelling typo! The oldglory25s site at least doesn't call the PRR-07 pack "Auxillary" like the oldgloryminiatures site does. Although they do call the other range, variously, "Ceaser's Galic Wars" and "Ceaser's Gallic Wars". And "Sarmations". And my perpetual bugaboo: "Lybians", as in "New Kingdom Lybians". Get down off the roof, Professor Kirke. I won't say "New Kingdom Lybians" again; I promise. Allen |

Yeah, I like them once painted. Before I got pigment on them they didn't look quite human, but a little paint does wonders. |
